Please feel free to ask if you have something different in mind. I am at your service and would love to help you create some wonderful memories for you to carry with you into the future. You may also wish to have a look at my frequently asked questions page. I consider it to be full of information that you may find helpful. It answers some of the more common questions that couples may have when considering marriage.
The list is endless – remember this is your special day – it is about you and the special bond that you share. The advantage of being married by a celebrant is that it gives you the option to become married where you wish; at a beach, a park, high among the hilltops, by a lake or under the stars. Just remember to live the dream and have the wedding that you want. So whether you have a definite idea in mind or need assistance, I am sure that together we can create a ceremony that projects the atmosphere that you wish to portray and importantly, I ensure that all the necessary legal requirements are met. You will be presented with a souvenir copy of your Wedding Ceremony, as well as a beautiful professionally printed calligraphy Presentation Marriage Certificate, as a memento of one of the most “magical moments” in your lives. Name-Giving Ceremonies A name giving ceremony is a wonderful way to welcome a child into your community of family and friends. It is a ceremony that has gained popularity as an alternative to the traditional Baptism or Christening. It is also a ceremony that can be held for someone of any age and can also be a way of welcoming an adopted child into his or her new family. Blended families can also benefit from this beautiful ceremony, as a way of celebrating the joining together of two families and offer an opportunity for step-children to be recognised as important members and be reminded of the special bond that you all share as one. ![]() A naming ceremony is a very rewarding and happy occasion, not only for the parents and the child being named but also for the whole family. Often it is an opportunity for other important members of the family to be involved in the ceremony, such as siblings or grandparents, to either recite an affirmation or a poem or participate in a ritual, such as Candle Lighting. You have the freedom to perform your ceremony anywhere you wish, be it at your home or in a park or at the beach. The choice is yours. You are presented with a beautiful calligraphy printed Naming Certificate for your child and the Godparents, Mentors or Guardians are also presented with a Certificate as a reminder of the promises that they have made to you, as the parents and to your child, during the ceremony. Certificates are also available upon request for other members of the family such as Grandparents. A beautiful souvenir copy of your Ceremony is also presented to you on the day. Renewal of Vows This ceremony is seen as a way to publicly express your ongoing love and commitment to each other. You may wish to perform this ceremony on a special anniversary or perhaps you were previously married overseas or in such a way that many of your family and friends where unable to attend. The ceremony itself is structured in a way similar to a wedding. It is a ceremony that can be held at any time in your lives together, where you feel it is right for you, as there are no legal requirements needed. To renew your vows gives you, as a couple, the opportunity to show the world of the strong belief you have in your relationship and affirms your love and dedication to each other in front of your children, family and close friends. It is a wonderful ceremony that should reflect the lives that you have shared together and the hopes and dreams that you have for the future. Many couples like to include their children or other family members in the ceremony through readings, poems or rituals. You will be presented with a beautiful calligraphy printed Renewal of Vows Certificate as well as a souvenir copy of your Ceremony, in honour of this very special occasion. Commitment Ceremonies This is a beautiful ceremony where you can publicly express your commitment to each other in the presence of your family and friends. Although it is not a legal ceremony, it offers couples a way where they can show their love, dedication and support for each other.
As a couple you will be presented with a professionally calligraphy printed Commitment Certificate as recognition of your special day as well as a beautifully presented souvenir copy of your Ceremony.
In modern times, a Handfasting Ceremony is an alternative option for those people who do not want to be legally married but wishes to make a spiritual commitment to each other and declare their love before their family and friends. As this ceremony is not seen as a legal ceremony, there are no legal requirements that need to be met. Therefore it gives you, as a couple, complete freedom in designing a ceremony to reflect your individual ideals. Handfasting is also becoming increasingly popular as a ritual that can be included within a legal marriage ceremony. It is seen as a beautiful part of the ceremony and gives true meaning to the term “tying the knot”. As a ritual, it can be easily incorporated into not only marriage ceremonies but also other ceremonies such as engagement or commitment ceremonies.Same-Sex Commitment Ceremonies In Australia, same sex marriages are not legal, however, this by no means stops you, as a couple, to publicly express your love and dedication towards each other by the way of a commitment ceremony. I am more than happy to help you to create your “magical day” and would see it as an honour and a privilege to do so. You will be presented with a professionally calligraphy printed Certificate as a memento of your special day and also a beautifully presented souvenir copy of your Ceremony. Pet Ceremonies We find throughout our lives that a pet is more than just a friend, as they give us their unconditional love and attention. The bond that a person and a pet share are unique and it is through this bond that we find ourselves wanting to perform a special ceremony just for them. Other Ceremonies In this day and age there are many opportunities to celebrate and perform Ceremonies for all Rites of Passage. As well as the Ceremonies I have listed previously, here are some Ceremonies that I can help to create for you:
